Private Beta Terms
These terms govern access to the invite-only Signal browser-extension beta.
Eligibility and invitation
You may use the beta only if the operator invited the Google account you use to sign in. Invitations are personal, non-transferable, and may be suspended or revoked at any time. You must provide accurate account information and keep your Google account secure.
Beta purpose
Signal is experimental evaluation software. Features, scoring, availability, providers, data formats, and these terms may change. The beta may contain errors or stop operating without notice.
Permitted use
You may use Signal for personal evaluation and provide honest feedback. You may not bypass access controls, share access, probe or overload the service, scrape it, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits, use it to violate another service’s terms, or use its output to make high-stakes decisions.
Third-party services and content
Signal interoperates with YouTube and uses Google, Firebase, OpenRouter, and Supadata services. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to your relationship with them. Signal is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or those providers.
No professional advice
Signal’s recommendations are automated judgments about public video packaging and transcript evidence. They are not statements of fact, professional advice, safety guidance, or a substitute for your judgment.
Feedback
If you send feedback, you give the operator permission to use it without restriction or payment to improve Signal, provided the operator does not publicly identify you without permission.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness, availability, non-infringement, or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from the beta. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the beta, which is currently zero.
Termination
You may stop using Signal at any time. The operator may end or restrict the beta or your access when necessary for security, policy compliance, cost control, or product changes.
Governing terms
The governing law and dispute venue will be specified before the beta expands beyond personal invitations. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction continue to apply.
